The author Laurie Haynes is a practising photographer/academic.

Coming from a background in advertising and fashion photography, Laurie started teaching in 1995 to fund study for a Fine Art degree. Finding he had a talent/interest in visual Image theory Laurie Has continued research in iconic Image-social Identity-and Audience reception theories. His short term aim is to help both students of photography and any other interested parties through the minefield that is visual image theory. Longterm he hopes to write the dininitive critical reader( see holy Grail)

Laurie would really apprieciated comments both positive or negative, especially constructive critiscm, as he freely admits he isnot the font of all knowledge, and sometimes gets it wrong.
